Lucile Jarry |
Lucile focuses her projects on the environment, human development and on improving access to medicines and nutritious foods in Latin America and in Asia.
For the Princeton University Pacala Lab, she has collected and analyzed wood samples from Midwestern US forests to measure the impact of differing rainfall regimes on the development of trees. Results will be published in an extensive program to incorporate the effects of climate change on forestry planning.
At the Caribbean Environmental Health Institute, Lucile monitored waste management in Trinidad and Tobago, drafted educational pamphlets on waste management and water resources, and tested water samples from private and public sectors for contaminants.
In the Mexican Research and Development laboratory of a major baby food manufacturer, she has performed assessments of juices and soft foods (in production or in development) and developed product information.
Lucile is pursuing a Bachelors of Art in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University, along with a Certificate of Environmental Proficiency.

Anne-Françoise is a consultant dedicated to the Life Sciences field, and passionate about innovative approaches of healthcare and drug development in both developed and developing countries.
She graduated as a veterinarian in Lyon, France, before specializing in virology at the Pasteur Institute. She joined the animal health pharmaceutical industry and worked for VIRBAC INC where she developed access to new drugs and vaccines and training programs in developing countries and export markets. She also worked in close collaboration with CDC to develop and market a rabies vaccine specific to developing countries. She then moved to business development in the human pharmaceutical industry (Schering Plough) before joining Capgemini Ernst & Young to lead the Life Sciences R&D practice and be a major partner of world prospective events in the field of Life Sciences.
After heading Scientific Development for the Mérieux holding, building bridges between its numerous activities- diagnostics, vaccines, nutraceuticals and healthcare in the developing world- she became an independent consultant dedicated to innovation acceleration in the field of life sciences. Her clients are pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies, public research teams, and the French government, all wishing to accelerate innovation in the field of life sciences with new consulting support and partnerships .
She is based in Paris, France.

Goradz has 30 years business experience in life sciences and healthcare in different parts of EU with main focus in Central, East and Southeast Europe as well as in Asia Pacific.
His career includes 20 years of management experience in the leading EU and global companies: Bayer, Novartis/Sandoz and Lek. His functional expertise and experience include marketing & sales, portfolio management, business development, strategic planning, project management (HR, M&A) and corporate governance.
Gorazd managed Sandoz commercial operations in 13 countries in Asia-Pacific and contributed to the affirmation of Sandoz as the leading global player in the region with high double digit profitable growth.
In Lek he was a member of the top management team including Board member for several years. Gorazd contributed significantly to diversified divisions (OTC , Cosmetics, Animal health, and Medical devices) double digit sales, profit growth and internationalization By managing the key strategic projects Gorazd contributed to Lek’s position as the leading EU generic pharmaceutical company.
Gorazd managed break through development of Lek OTC business with significant profitable business growth (CAGR > 40%) and internationalization. He contributed to introduction of responsible self -medication in Slovenia as a part of healthcare system. Gorazd developed the most prescribed medicine and most widely used OTC medicine in the market and achieve leading market share of new Bayer Pharma prescription pharmaceuticals.
Gorazd has led talented, successful and very diverse teams in a variety of settings and countries. He managed several acquisitions, restructurings, divestitures and alliances, as well as several integration projects. He demonstrated his affinity to teamwork and highest professional and personal values and standards.
Beside professional career he was the founder of pharmaceutical industry interest group associations in Slovenia and significantly contributed to linking East–West European pharmaceutical interest groups (in AESGP and EGA). He was President of Slovenian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association, Member of the Executive Board and Chairman of the Accession Committee of The European Generic Medicines Association.
Gorazd has a Master of Science degree (MBA) from University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. He graduated and got his B.Sc. Pharmacy degree by Faculty of Pharmacy (University of Ljubljana). At the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Medicine, he attended the postgraduate study of experimental pre-clinical and clinical pharmacology.
Gorazd got his EFQM business excellence assessor license.
He has shared his expertise and experience in several different supervisory bodies including National Health Insurance Assembly, Bayer Pharma Slovenia, Sandoz affiliated companies.

Mais Najib – Senior Advisor |
Mais has gained over eight years accumulated industry experience with blue-chip multinationals, more recently at Sanofi-Aventis headquarters in Paris, and international consultancy experience in strategic market access, pricing and reimbursement, economic modelling, health policy assessment, value strategy creation, strategic payer negotiation, and cross-functional team and project management. She also has gained extensive knowledge of reimbursement mechanisms and global health care policies.Mais has a multi-cultural background and international experience (London, Vienna, Paris, Copenhagen, Dublin and the Middle East), strong business acumen, and excellent interpersonal and networking skills. She speaks English, Arabic, German, French and some Spanish.
She is currently employed as an Associate Director in Market Access for Europe, Middle East and Africa at Johnson & Johnson. She has a particular interest in developing market access strategies and applying business model innovation to tap into low-income markets to improve healthcare access in developing countries.

He has worked on the ground and conducted research in the emerging markets of India, South Africa, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Tanzania and Kenya and across sectors like energy, rural distribution, housing, housing finance, agricultural inputs and nutrition
His expertise includes business strategy, business modelling, process design and operations management. He worked with ICI and TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) in India. In 2005 he joined The Next Practice, the consulting firm of Prof. C K Prahalad focusing on building innovative business models for low income households and entry strategies in emerging markets.
Avik has received the Post Graduate Diploma in Management from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Kozhikode where he was the General Electric Fund Scholar. He was also awarded the IIM Kozhikode Gold Medal for Best All Round Performance.He earned a bachelor’s degree first class with honors in mechanical engineering from Jadavpur University.

In his 27-year tenure in the Life Sciences, Nutrition and Consulting industries, Olivier has generated profitable, organic and inorganic growth for a number of organizations.
At Bayer, Olivier has led the Bayer Diabetes Care business unit to increased market shares in most countries, launching 5 innovative products in 2009 and 2010, which have been acclaimed in the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, among other media.
At Novartis, he has re-launched the strategic plan process for Novartis Consumer Health, managed M&A and BD&L across several business units, developed Infant Nutrition in Latin America and in Asia, launched a for-profit access to medicines business in India. He has also grown the European business of Novartis Vaccines and helped governments address the 2009 “swine flu” pandemic.
At Danone, Olivier has led Strategy and M&A for the beverages division after having managed Finance and Operations in North America, jointly for several business units.
At Accenture, Olivier has designed and conducted major enterprise transformation programs with more than 60 companies in durable and consumer goods, leading a dozen pre-acquisition and post-merger integration projects.
Olivier has assembled talented, successful and very diverse teams in a variety of settings and countries: commercial operations for consumer goods in Latin America, partnerships in Japan, due diligence in China, government sales in the ex-Communist block, etc. He has led value-added negotiations of acquisitions (up to USD 1 billion), divestitures and alliances, as well as more than 16 post-merger integration projects in Canada, the USA, Brazil, Argentina, France, Poland, Hungary, etc.
He has served on an AFNOR/ISO standardization committee on Project Management and on the Board of AdvaMed Dx, the industry association for Advanced Medical Devices / Diagnostics.
